Founders who built the business with the $79 course
6 launches run on the Pro Launch Course, each credited to the lesson that changed the number — across 6 of the 6 lessons. Figures are what the founder reported at the end of their window, shared with permission.
Elena was selling a 60-page audit kit at $24 because it felt safe. Lesson one's break-even math showed that at her traffic she needed 168 sales a month to clear her own time. She re-priced to $89 with the same files, wrote the one-sentence justification into the listing, and did $3,940 in the next 30 days on fewer visitors.
The price wasn't a confidence problem, it was an arithmetic problem. Lesson one did the arithmetic for me.
Marc's refunds came from scope, not quality — buyers opened 140 files and had no idea where to start. Lesson two cut the day-one core to eleven files, moved the rest to a clearly labelled bonus folder, and added the start-here page. Refunds fell from 13% to 5% with no change to the content.
Nothing got better. It got findable, and the refunds stopped.
Sana had a feature list where the outcome should have been. Rewriting the listing in lesson three's five-question order — who it's for, what it produces, what's inside, why now, what if it's wrong — and moving the refund line beside the buy button took conversion from 4.1% to 9.8% on the same paid traffic.
I moved one sentence next to the button and the objection went away.
Kofi had announced products with a single email for two years. Running lesson four's five-email sequence across six days — plus both cart-recovery follow-ups scheduled before email one went out — produced 83 sales in launch week, 31 of them from the two follow-ups alone.
The follow-ups I nearly skipped were 37% of the launch.
Hana burned $600 on ads before the course. Lesson five made her write down the break-even conversion rate first, publish two comparison pages while she waited, and only then spend — at a tenth of the daily budget. Month two came in at 1.9x with organic covering the rest.
I stopped buying traffic for a page that couldn't convert it.
Lesson 5: Buy traffic only where it already converts
Diego treated every sale as final. Lesson six put one follow-on offer on the receipt and the download page, and a monthly update note on the listing. Within a quarter, 42% of buyers had bought again — his cheapest revenue by a wide margin.
The second sale cost me an email. That's the whole trick.
